During this time, they discovered exotic native spices from South Asia and Europe and blended them with two very distinct and different classes of tobacco - genuine vintage tobacco leaves from Honduras, and Nicaraguan tobacco leaves grown on their own farm in Esteli from their very first harvest.

Connecticut Yankee A taste that hasn't been around for almost 200 years. Connecticut Yankee cigars feature a genuine Connecticut Grown Havana-Seed Wrapper. Neither broad leaf nor shade, Havana-Seed is grown in the Connecticut River Valley, the small piece of land in Connecticut where some of the world's premier tobacco is grown. In the early 1800's this was the predominant plant of choice for the tobacco farmers of that region. Havana-Seed plants were dark and delicious but production dwindled as the Connecticut growers favored the larger, thicker leaves of broadleaf. A very rare wrapper in the cigar world today, Victor Sinclair found a small cache of Havana-Seed aging in an old tobacco barn.
