I have smoked over 1200 of these and they are a pleasing smoke. Getting both gives me variety. The price is reasonable. Cudos to the Cigar Hut for not doubling the price of these as others have done with their \"Seconds\" and lost my business.

While these alternatives are not quite to the level of the Purito in taste, they are very consistent and imminently smokeable at a fraction of the price. I find them to be better in taste and vastly superior in quality to the Old-Fashioned Chicos that I used to smoke. All in all, the best value around for a small cigar.

For the most part, they are very similar to the cigars that were sold as macanudo "seconds".
They resemble macanudo ascots in size, color, and, for the most part, taste! They are a pretty good cigar, considering their size! They burn well, and are a good option for a quick smoke!

Hi,
I usually buy the macanudo Prince Phillip seconds cigars, but you were out of them so I thought I'd try the Alternatives. Well, to my suprise they were really good. I couldn't tell the difference and I plan to buy them again as long as they keep to price and quality. Thank for giving me an alternative.

Very similar in taste to the Macanudo Ascot. Somewhat dryer and lacks the smoothness of the Macanudo, however they are a very acceptable substitute at the lower price.

I have been smoking Macanudo Hyde Park bundled seconds for years and enjoying them alot. I called to order more and was disappointed to find out there were none available. I was led to a new product, Macanudo Hyde Park Alternatives. These cigars are priced similar to seconds, but they are first run cigars. They are tasty and mild like an original Mac and they burn perfectly. There is no reason I would not buy the bundled seconds again, but the Alternatives are excellent and I will be buying more as soon as I run low.

Once again a good cigar for the price!
2 weeks delivery down under, spoilt only by the exhoritant customs duty I had to pay!
Came in a celophane wrapper with a small piece of cedar wrapped around. Perhaps an extra dollar or 2 and put them in tubes would be worth considering.
A very strong cigar full of flavour. Best for a regular cigar smoker. Not something for a first time smoker to try. I assume it is the dark sungrown wrapper that makes it so strong. I have tried Cuesta Rey Sungrown and these seemed a bit stronger from memory.
Well made, easy draw robusto with plenty of smoke and flavour. A bit too strong for me, but well worth a try.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE CIGARS!!! I love this alternative cigar so much if the rest of you start buying them, they may not be in stock when I want to reorder. I enjoy these as much if not more than a lot of the other name brand cigars. It is a fantastic value. Thank you Cigar Hut for offering them.
